so this is one of the things that i’m currently working on in sculpture class!
gross anklebiter heels!!! i really am loving how they’re turning out and they’re totally wearable which is a plus.
they’re actually nearly finished, i just need to finish the insides of them. am thinking about going with gold leaf currently but i might change my mind depending on how sturdy it turns out.
wanted a break from coding so i drew a little haley thinking little mothy mushroom thoughts
the beauty of designing while being both anal and confused is that i agonized over choices that weren’t complicated or hard to execute
and i still might end up changing my mind.
edit: added footer logo too! which is a lot easier to feel good about. we’ll see how it all comes together.
i’m bad at horses so i thought i’d explore my horse weakness on a column of my planner
which horse are you
working on one of my projects for sculpture—a pair of pantyhose with embroidered scrapes and bruises. there’s a mannequin leg that has floated around the studio for a while and chris (professor) told me i’m able to take it home with me so i can work so i might drive over there tomorrow and get it.
this whole process is EXTREMELY FUN. i’m worried about shredding my pantyhose so i might count this pair as practice and go and get a more durable and opaque pair when i get a chance to tomorrow as well just to ensure that they can endure my sewing.
it’s great though, because this is sparking all sorts of ideas off of this one. also it’s just really nice being able to do something so immediate and tactile.
if you want to you can now support me opening my shop/writing comics/making cool shit in general on my patreon account!
some cool rewards include stuff like early access to comic pages/shop items, discount codes to use on my shop items, free requests at drawing livestreams, monthly hand put together thank you blind bags, and my eternal thanks and love!
it works by pledging a certain amount of money a month to me through paypal, and you get tons of cool shit from me in return! you can even pledge as little as $1 if you want to! since i’m sick and unable to work and also very busy, this money will be some that i can really set aside to fund my future business and comic as well as to use to give me the extra time to work on both!
pretty much the coolest deal right now is the monthly thank you tiers, where i’ll be sending small envelopes/packages containing a bunch of doodles, a few items from my future shop, and a hand written thank you from me~
any support you can give me whether it be pledging or just signal boosting will help me<3 thanks for reading!
i’ve added several VERY REAL shop things to my patreon today so, if you’re a current patron, you should check that out! it’s stuff i won’t be posting until i have a listing ready for preorder, so there won’t be any other way to see it until then!
and if you’re not a patron already, then it’s only a buck! and then $5 gets you a rad store discount and $10 gets you monthly grab bags once my shop goes live!!! THINK ABOUT IT
my first color lino relief—since we only had transparent white my color palette ended up a bit more monochromatic than i intended, but i still like it!!!
i’ve got a bunch of these and was planning on selling some of them—they’re pretty big like poster sized and super bright and nice in person, idk!
my first lino-cut print, going for a subtle horror type thing. had a lot of fun with it, definitely want to do more work with relief.
